Eclectic grandma chic, mostly vintage with modern touches
What are you wearing in the photo:
I honestly can’t remember exactly where I got anything other than the earrings from International Festival in Houston. All other items are thrifted or salvaged.
What or who is the biggest influence on your style?
My friends and people I see on the street, the creative individuality that others express through their clothing.
Do you change your “look” periodically? If so, how often?
My look really changes day to day. It depends on my mood and how much time I have to get ready. Sometimes a dress is the perfect thing, sometimes leggings. Sometimes I feel more daring, sometimes more feminine. Sometimes I’m bold, sometimes softer. Sometimes vintage, sometimes modern.
What outfit would you never be caught dead in?
Anything that combines blue jeans with open-backed shoes. Bleh.
What do you think is the most hideous current fashion trend?
All the little screenprinted things for men and women, including bedazzled crosses, etc. Things that are all over department stores. Can we please be original people?
What do you think is the most fabulous current fashion trend?
Socks with dressy shoes!!! It’s like being a little girl and playing dress up in your mama’s heels. But it’s for real, and oh so fun!!!
